Phil Crowe

Having visited Thailand for the first time in 2007 and fallen in love with first Bangkok, and then many other parts of Thailand, Phil has now lived in Phuket for 6 years and is the owner of Adonis Guest House in the Paradise Complex.

Until moving to Phuket, he has worked his entire career in Sales and Marketing in the FMCG market. Although he has no formal qualifications in marketing, his move to a marketing role was brought about his employer wanting a much closer linkage between the Sales processes and Marketing initiatives. Phil very quickly found a passion for Brand Marketing and in his last company took them through two brand changes.

At the PLU, he has established both the PLU and the Phuket Pride brands which he believes are being internationally recognized within the LGBT market.

Tangmo (Chanok Kaewseenuan)

She is an active 52ish (a lady never tells her age!) and  although a native of Bangkok is a well-known figurehead within the Patong area.  An entrepreneur, who owns the Tangmo Group which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013.  The Group consists of the Tangmo Cabaret, Karaoke and the Newspaper Boutique Restaurant.

Over the past years Tangmo has done, and indeed still does, a considerable amount of work within the local LGBT community, particularly in the fight for equal rights for the Lady Boys.

Continues to support and assist in the HIV health initiatives.  A strong advocate of the PLU’S HARP Programme.

With Tangmo’s local knowledge, and that, together with her many connections, is indeed an added asset on the PLU Committee.
